Paying for School

As an accredited university, we are able to accept many forms of financing from public and private sources, including:

Please visit our Tuition and Fees page for our list of our per credit hour rates and fees, and to see how we compare to other state schools and private schools.

When Is Payment Due?

Tuition payment is due no later than Thursday at 2 p.m. ET during the first week of courses. Book orders and shipments will not be processed via our University Book Grant until tuition payment is received or financing is confirmed.

How Do I Pay?

Out-of-Pocket

You will be asked to confirm financing information or provide payment when you register for courses. The full sum is due upon registration via a credit/debit card, digital payment (Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, or PayPal®) or an echeck, or you may use our Automatic Debit Plan (ADP), which allows you to break your payments into four installments for a 16-week course or two installments for an 8-week course.

Using Financial Aid

If you are using any forms of financial aid, you will not pay for tuition during registration, but will be required to pay fees not directly covered by your aid. If your total financial aid package is greater than the cost of tuition, you should receive a credit balance refund from the university approximately 45 days after the start of your academic semester to help cover the costs of fees, books, etc.

Payment Type

When you register for courses, you are asked to select a "payment type." If you are using FSA loans or grants, please select Federal Student Aid as your payment type. Many of our students make the mistake of choosing "loan" as their payment type, but that should only be selected if you are receiving a private loan. Read Changing Payment Type for more information.
