Register for Commencement

Eligible graduates will receive an invitation to register via email from [email protected] beginning in January 2025. Emails will be sent to your mycampus email address. Only gradates who have submitted graduation applications for the above conferrals will receive invitations.

What is Marching Order?

Cap & Gown

All graduates are responsible for purchasing and bringing their cap and gown, as well as any additional regalia they choose to wear, to commencement. You should arrive dressed and ready for your ceremony. A hooding ceremony for master’s candidates will not take place during the ceremony. Ceremony marshals will be available before the ceremony to assist graduates needing help with their academic hood.

Ceremony Logistics

On the day of the ceremony, university volunteers and staff will be positioned throughout the resort to direct you and your guests to the ceremony and check-in locations. Graduates should arrive to their ceremony at least 30 minutes prior to the start time.

Unable to Attend?

We understand that not all of our graduates will be able to attend our annual commencement ceremony, but that does not mean you should not celebrate!

Alternative Celebrations

Note

There is a big difference between commencement and graduation. There are also important instructions and deadlines that you will need to meet as you prepare to complete your program. Please review the graduation process in your student handbook prior to making plans for commencement.
